Important information regarding weight restrictions
Whether you are looking for a memorable gift or taking the first step towards achieving your Private Pilot’s Licence, a helicopter trial lesson will be an exhilarating experience to remember. Each trial lesson comprises a full and comprehensive pre-flight briefing to explain the basics of helicopter flight and the effects of the controls. Followed by either 30 or 60 minutes of actual flight time alongside one of our highly experienced instructors, during which time you will be invited to take the controls. Experience the joys of helicopter flight first-hand! Trial lessons are conducted in a Robinson R44 helicopter, which can carry the instructor, the student and up to two family members or friends.
If, after having taken your trial lesson you decide you would like to go on to take your Private Pilot’s Licence, Commercial Pilot’s Licence or even become a flight instructor yourself, have a chat with your instructor on the day – he will be happy to provide you with all the information and advice you need.

- Prices are effective as of 1st August 2023.
- The flight time recorded on any Trial Lesson will count towards the requirements for the Private Pilot Licence for Helicopters should you decide to continue with further training.
